Action and Quick Intervention Grants

The purpose is to strengthen the democratic values and rule of law and furthermore increasing civic engagement through support short actions and campaigns around current, topical problems, cases or emergencies, implemented by civil society organisations. Associations, foundations, social cooperatives and nonprofit companies exclusively owned by natural persons and falling under the category of micro- and small enterprise (have fewer than 25 employees), legally registered in Hungary (detailed conditions see below). Informal (unregistered) citizens' groups and communities can also participate as partners. In such cases, the lead organisation must meet the above conditions and commit to receive the grant and manage it in accordance with the financial rules (see below).
