The Netherlands face serious challenges when it comes to labor productivity, adaptive capacity, innovative strength and earning capacity of companies, especially within SMEs. Social and technological innovation offer promising solutions to the societal challenges of our time. AI and robotics can be introduced into business processes to work smarter, to strengthen the learning capacity of organizations and employees, and to remain relevant in the market. To promote this implementation, much more research is needed, involving actual collaboration with these technologies.
