Type of projects to be funded : Pilot projects focused on prevention and zero-waste measures to reduce plastic and microplastic pollution in rivers and connected waters. Eligible activities include substitution of conventional plastics with bio-based or biodegradable alternatives, upstream prevention interventions, monitoring activities, nature-based solutions, citizen engagement actions and measures supporting circular use of materials.
